What am I doing?

I just accepted a job, well an intership really- it does not pay, but i believe in in the work. It is kind of a mix of what I have passion for : research, and what i want to grow as : a policy and advocacy officer.

My job would be to do field investigative research in Serbia documenting border violence on people on the move. I have so much to think about- what can i do , what do i want to get out of this?
